RBI–IMS Specialist/Project Manager

The Equity Engineering Group, Inc. (E2G) is an engineering consulting company that is internationally recognized in the refining and petrochemical industries as a leader on aging infrastructure (fixed equipment) service, products and support. Our company has pioneered the development of advanced Fitness-for-Service (FFS) and risk-based inspection (RBI) technologies and software. E2G has an immediate need for an RBI–IMS Specialist/Project Manager. The RBI–IMS Specialist/Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Performing RBI analyses of fixed equipment and managing resources to implement and deliver RBI projects on time and budget. The RBI Specialist will work on projects primarily in the IBU, but may also be asked to support RBI projects in the North American Business Unit.
  • Mentoring and training clients in the implementation of RBI and use of API RBI Software, IMS and other related VCEPlant Manager Software modules.
  • Assisting the Training Group in the development and delivery of training courses, webinars, and demonstrations of VCEPlant Manager Software.

The ideal candidate must:

  • Have a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Materials Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in the refining or chemical industry.
  • Be familiar with process equipment, plant operations and project management.
  • Be familiar with RBI and IMS technologies and software.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States and willing to travel to client’s sites, including international travel to most parts of the world, while supporting E2G’s International Business Unit (IBU).
  • Be able to relocate to E2G’s Houston, TX or Shaker Heights, OH office.
