Software Developer (C# .NET Developer)
The Equity Engineering Group, Inc. (E2G) is a Northeast Ohio Engineering Consulting Company, internationally recognized in the refining and petrochemical industries as a leader in fixed equipment reliability services. E2G has pioneered the development of advanced Fitness-For-Services (FFS) and Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) technologies. E2G has an immediate need for a Software Developer. This position is located at E2G Headquarters in Shaker Heights, OH.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Under the direct supervision of the Software Development Group Head, the Software Developer designs, implements, and tests software applications, primarily on the .NET platform using C# and Windows forms. The ideal candidate has enthusiasm, and experience working in a team environment. This position may require the performance of other tasks and projects as required.
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- C# .NET, especially WPF
- Object Oriented Design
- Design Patterns
- User interface Design
- Best practices for .NET application development and deployment
ABILITY TO:
- Understand complex systems.
- Work with users to gather and document requirements.
- Comprehend and modify existing source code as well as creating new code.
- Analyze problems and recommend immediate course of action.
- Effectively manage multiple projects.
- Effectively communicate technical issues/solutions both verbally and in writing.
- Adapt to changes and able to meet deadlines
- Work in an agile development environment using Test-Driven development
- Travel to domestic and international destinations as required by E2G
- Legally work in the United States
- Adhere to E2G company goals & policies
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field is preferred
- A minimum of 2 years experience a plus
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License and insurable driving record
- Possession of an active U.S. Passport
