Homes For Our Troops
The Equity Engineering Group, Inc. (E2G) sponsored as well as participated in the 4th Annual Houston Sporting Clays Tournament held on January 28th-29th, 2011 in Houston, TX to benefit Homes for Our Troops, a national non-profit, nonpartisan organization which helps military personnel who have returned home with serious disabilities. Homes for Our Troops is “strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to our country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries since September 11, 2001. It is our duty and our honor to assist severely injured Servicemen and Servicewomen and their immediate families by raising donations of money, building materials and professional labor and to coordinate the process of building a home that provides maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live more independently.”
This year’s clay shooting tournament drew 860 participants, hundreds of spectators and countless volunteers, and raised over $200,000 for our disabled U.S. veterans.
E2G congratulates the countless unselfish volunteers who all worked tirelessly to make this event a success, applauds our team who took 2 nd place in their division, and is proud to support our wounded and disabled veterans.
