The NPRA Principles & Practices sessions are discussion-oriented sessions that are primarily designed for the engineer whose overall operating experience is less than 20 years. Each of the sessions addresses the fundamentals of good operation and the foundational principles for the technologies that are commonly employed. These sessions consist of presentations followed by open discussions in which participants can ask questions and present their own particular problems, benefiting from the collective experience of the other attendees.
Mr. Danis has over 3 decades of experience in the refining industry both as an owner-user and consultant. Based on field experiences/job assignments at a number of domestic and international locations, he provides metallurgical input for the development of refinery turnaround work plans, development of repair plans / procedures to address unplanned equipment outages and technical direction for the development of equipment condition assessments.
