Our History
Equity Engineering was established in 2002 with offices in Cleveland, Ohio and Houston, Texas. Our company has enjoyed significant growth and success from the beginning. From the original 13 shareholders, the Company has grown to almost 100 people. Most of our engineers have hands-on refinery or chemical plant experience, and all our people have deep experience in their areas of expertise.
In 2006, we moved our corporate headquarters into new, larger offices in Shaker Heights, Ohio and moved into new Houston quarters in 2007. In 2008, we opened offices in Alberta and Ontario, Canada – Equity Engineering, Canada. We also have personnel in Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut, Kentucky, and North Texas.
