Charles Panzarella, Ph.D.
Dr. Panzarella has years of experience working as a researcher and scientific programmer in academia, industry and government labs. He serves as the technical and management lead on a number of Equity Engineering software applications where he has expanded his expertise to include such areas as structural analysis, solid mechanics, metal creep, thermodynamic prediction of fluid mixture properties and atmospheric dispersion modeling. He is currently improving the analytical capabilities of several software products, ensuring the most accurate and correct results possible.
For over 15 years, Dr. Panzarella worked as a research scientist at the NASA Glenn Research Center where he worked on a variety of problems involving such areas as crystal growth, chemical vapor deposition, contaminant dispersion modeling, ripple turbulence, viscoelasticity, microfluidics, porous media, cryogenic fluid storage, and human physiology (modeling the cardiovascular system). His diverse practical experience combined with his rigorous mathematical background and skills as a computer programmer gives him a unique approach to problem solving.
Dr. Panzarella’s work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals including The Journal of Fluid Mechanics, The Journal of Spacecraft and Rockets, The International Journal of Thermophysics and Heat Transfer, and Cryogenics.
